5. International transfers
Some providers, including video platforms and payment services, may process data outside the United Kingdom, for example in the European Economic Area or the United States. Where this happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where needed. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

When the period ends, we delete data securely or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, limited access on a need-to-know basis and reputable providers with recognised security standards. Tutors use private links for lessons and may not keep copies of your work on personal devices. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will inform you and the ICO as the law requires.
9. Your rights

- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month, free of charge in most cases, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
10. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent to lesson recordings or marketing emails at any time by telling your tutor, using the unsubscribe link in any email or writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it, and we will delete any existing recordings within 7 days of your request.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113, or by post to Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
